Excess sweating is medically known as Hyperhidrosis and is often an embarrassing condition, causing you to sweat much more than your body needs to. It is fairly common in the UK, with roughly one million people having this condition.

The most commonly affected area is the underarms. However, excessive sweating may also be present in many parts of your body, including the feet, hands, face and head. Sweating is generally harmless and occurs in both men and women.
